One of these issues is (surprisingly) the lack of knowledge the player has of SCPs the first time they see one. The game is full of neat ideas, implementations, and adaptations of existing SCP articles, but it has serious trouble making a fun game out of it. If nothing else, it's fun to see all of these horrible abominations in one place :) I've played it since the start and have played every update since, and will most likely continue on that path. Not that they have changed, or that you have simply conquered your fear moreso that the game has filled in all the gaps in your imagination, and left nothing unexpected for you to become victim to. Over time, however, the feelings of fear lessen drastically, and as with any scary media the antagonists become less scary. There are gaps in all the entries, variables left untouched so that you are free to fill them with whatever horrible conclusions your mind can come up with. The majority of the fear you feel is a result of the fact that you've read up on these things, your imagination is in overdrive and you don't know what to do now that its YOU in the facility.
